Walbridge, Ohio is a village in Wood County that is home to Lake School District. This village has a population of around 3,019 and was incorporated in 1912. It used to be known as “Owls Nest” back in the 1840’s. This area was part of the Great Black Swamp which was Ohio’s largest wetland. It stretched 120 miles long and 40 miles wide.
