Franklin Cleanup and Restoration

Franklin opened what was considered the world's first garbage-recycling plant in 1971. Designed and built by the Black Clawson Company, the plant recycled metals from solid waste, and used recovered paper fibers to make roofing materials.

Franklin Ohio also has a huge sports complex! This is one of the largest indoor facilities in the tri-state, featuring two indoor soccer fields (85 ft x 185 ft) with special sports turf playing surface and 3 regulation wood floor basketball courts. Each court has seating for more than 200 spectators. When the soccer players head outdoors the 2 indoor soccer fields become basketball courts, giving the facility 5 basketball courts from during the basketball season.

Luke Douglas Kennard is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association. He played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils and was drafted by the Detroit Pistons with the 12th pick in the 2017 NBA draft, Luke Douglas Kennard attended Franklin City Schools and sold out all the games.
