The village of Covedale has been in existence since prior to 1860 but was not annexed by the city of Cincinnati in the 1890s. It remains a village in the area known as West Price Hill, with a population of roughly 7,000 in 2010, but it has certainly grown since. Covedale is a founding member of the Harvest Home celebration that has been a part of the Westside experience since the 1860s. Covedale residents took part in the most reverend event and were reported on by the American Agriculturist Magazine in 1874, which records show the event being 10 years old at that time. This town boasts great Tudor architecture with great stone construction and large fireplaces.
