Mount Sinai Water Damage Repair and Fire Damage Restoration
Mount Sinai was an agricultural hamlet when it was first settled in the 1660s. Known initially as Old Mans for many years, it was renamed Mount Vernon and then Mount Sinai since there was a Mount Vernon in New York. The local postmaster renamed the town in 1840 by pointing a needle randomly into his bible. The name Mount Sinai has been used since 1841/1842.
The Mount Sinai School District operates three schools in the area: Elementary, Middle, and High School. Each school has a number of activities that take place each month. For example, the High School is planning the HS Concert, Concert Band, and String Orchestra in the auditorium on December 10th. There is always something going on at Amic’s Restaurant. In addition to the great food, Patrons can enjoy Trivia night every Thursday night beginning at 6:30. On Friday nights, there is entertainment starting at 6 pm. Cactus and the Kia are playing on November 22nd, and Emy Mcb will be there on November 29th.
