Seaside Heights is the Garden State’s #1 vacation destination during the warmer months and a tranquil place for residents to live during the cooler months. This beach town on a barrier island that faces the Atlantic Ocean on the east and Barnegat Bay on the west. The town’s iconic Ferris wheel can viewed from the Mathis Bridge as you drive over the Barnegat Bay. There is a 2 mile action packed boardwalk next to the ocean to view the sandy beaches, dunes, swimmers, surfers, sea birds and the occasional dolphins. During summer, the town is ablaze with lights from the many arcades and rides. Casino Pier, Breakwater Beach and the Jersey Shore Store are place for the entire family to enjoy. A stop at the food stands are a must for boardwalk fries and Kohrs ice cream. The town offers a free concert tribute series on the beach on Thursday nights in the summer. The town boasts many street festivals and annually host a Polar Bear Plunge, Wine on the Beach and the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on the Boulevard.
