Pine Beach is a small residential community in Ocean County located along the banks of the Toms River. Only 410 acres, we may smaller in size but we still have a lot to offer. We have one elementary school for kindergarteners through grade five. After that they move on to Intermediate South and High School South.
Looking for some beautiful places to see the river and talk to locals? Visit the Pine Beach Yacht Club, founded in 1915. It is a great location to socialize, explore the local boating scene and just walk along the water’s edge. They also offer sailing lessons on the Toms River for all ages and all levels.
Vista Park on Midland Avenue is also along the Toms River and hosts various family friendly events throughout the year. For Easter they hold an Annual Easter Egg Hunt and for the Fourth of July they hold the Annual Pine Beach Independence Day Parade. The Pine Beach Volunteer Fire Company also holds their Annual Pine Beach Fire at Vista Park with vendors, food, games and music for people of all ages.
Unfortunately with all this water comes the risk of water, storm and flooding damage. Superstorm Sandy brought such devastation to our area in October of 2012. The Toms River rose above sea level and brought water and flooding into both residential and commercial properties in the area.
