Meridian is the Queen City of the south!  With our railroad roots and our love of great music, Meridian offers a flourishing arts scene amid what amounts to a museum of gorgeous architecture. Urban lakes and parks soothe the soul with their natural beauty. One-of-a-kind attractions appeal to the kid or the creative in us all.  Meridian has a thriving downtown community, with the oldest restaurant in the state, Weidmann's (be sure to get the black bottom pie), shopping at boutiques and wonderful places to eat.   The Threefoot  Building has recently opened into a breath-taking hotel, and restaurant with Meridian's only roof top restaurant.  In the summer people like to cool off by visiting Bonita Lakes or Highland Park Splash pad.  The MAX is a state-of-the-art museum and culture center with many nighttime activities and a farmer market on Saturdays.   Meridian has recently had a revival of Downton with breweries, parks and festivals. 

History of Meridian, MS 

Meridian was established in 1860 at the junction of the Mobile and Ohio Railroad and Southern Railway.  The entire economy was based off railways and goods.  Railroads are still a major factor in Meridian to this day.  The annual Soule Railroad festival is a must for train enthusiasts.  Meridian has grown and shrunk many times over the years but still retains its down-home roots.   SERVPRO of Meridian is proud to be part of a vibrate community.  Our employees are always looking to help with the area in any fire or water damage.
