Ozark Cleanup and Restoration

Situated in the heart of southwest Missouri is the town of Ozark.  Ozark is the county seat for Christian County, it boasts a beautiful historic square with shops and features a courthouse on the square that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.   Ozark is named after the Ozark Mountains in which it is situated, alongside the Finley River. In the 1800s local settlers built a watermill that operated until 1992.  It was the last commercially operating watermill in Missouri.  Recently the mill was beautifully preserved and restored by local conservationist, Johnny Morris. It features a riverfront dining experience a long with event spaces and a general store.
