The city of Odessa was founded in 1878  when eastern Europeans started to settle in the region. Most of the first settlers were Ukrainian which is why the city is named after the Ukrainian town of Odessa. The community is blossoming with new businesses while staying true to the historic history of the town. The city’s Chamber of Commerce hosts many fun family-related activities for residents such as the Rodeo, Trick-or-Treat, Ribbon Cutting and so much more. When visiting we HIGHLY recommend stopping into the Odessa Creamery which features amazing burgers but some amazing desserts, try the BEANIE!
