The city of Carrollton sits in the heart of Carroll County! Carroll County lies in the midst of a rich agricultural section of the state in north central Missouri. According to the 2021 Census, Carroll County has a population of 8,376, with Carrollton holding the county seat and housing approximately 3,430 people. Their town is located approximately 75 miles northeast of Kansas City and at the intersection of U.S. highways 65 and 24.
Carrollton has a lot of local history much of which can be found in their wonderful museum and historical society. The town has several quaint shops and delicious restaurants. They have a winery as well as a brewery that serves fantastic lunch and dinner and their pizza and wings are a fan favorite. Their town has a local 9-hole private Country Club Golf Course that is always hoping in the warmer months. Carroll County has an Area YMCA which is full of options for family fun as well as local fundraisers throughout the year that service programs for the area children. There is a new aquatic center that is an amazing asset to the community. Other options in their town include but are not limited to the parks, lakes and hunting ground throughout the county. Several families and visitors enjoy rural recreation and fishing with their family and friends. If you need to host an event the local community shelters can accommodate.
