Northfield MN,
Northfield is a city in Dakota and Rice counties in the State of Minnesota. The population was 20,790 at the 2020 census. Northfield is 40 miles south of the downtowns of Minneapolis and St. Paul.
History
Northfield was founded in 1856 by John W. North. Northfield was founded by settlers from New England known as "Yankees" as part of New England's colonization of what was then the far west. It was an early center of agriculture with many wheat and corn farms. The town also had lumber and flour mills that were powered by the Cannon River. The local factory Malt-O-Meal is one of the last remaining icons of Northfield's historic wheat boom. The city is also known for it's two liberal arts colleges: Saint Olaf and Carleton College.
On September 7, 1876, Jesse James Gang attempted a robbery on the First National Bank of Northfield.
The events have become the basis of an yearly outdoor heritage festival called The Defeat of Jesse James Days. It is held the weekend after Labor Day and is one of the largest outdoor celebrations in Minnesota.

I had significant water damage in two bathrooms at the same time and was totally overwhelmed with the insurance process and mess. One bathroom was totally destroyed and the mold stunk up the whole house. The guys came out to assess the situation the day the insurance company called them and got the fans placed the next day. I was totally overwhelmed with the mess, the drying process, etc., but the guys were great and made it so much easier. I hope I never need them again, but if I do I would call them in a heartbeat.
