Bruno is a small town in the eastern part Pine County, intersected by the historic Minnesota State Highway 23 which is the second longest state route in Minnesota. Bruno has three Churches, a U.S. Post Office, an auto repair shop, a thrift store, volunteer Fire Department and a small park for travelers to pull off and take a break with restrooms along with a well containing a fresh water source. Situated near the Wisconsin border, its located north of Hinckley and south of Duluth, providing a rural setting amidst the scenic landscapes of the North Star State. This small municipality is accessible via Interstate 35.

In a short distance from the heart of Bruno, Minnesota, there is access to the Nemadji State Forest which is a great place to get out into nature and experience many different recreational activities. There is something in the area for everyone to enjoy.

Some of the more popular outdoor recreational activities would be hunting, fishing and boating on local lakes, birdwatching and there is also dispersed camping available. The trails are well developed, some are designed specifically for hiking, cross-country skiing, horseback riding, all-terrain vehicle and off-highway motorcycling to name a few.  Bruno may not be as popular as other cities in the United States but don't let that fool you, Bruno is smaller and still an up-and-coming tourist destination that is worth a visit.
