In his role, Mike specializes in cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with insurance and facilities professionals throughout the service area. Actively engaged in community outreach, he participates in events and seminars across greater Grand Rapids, educating the public on disaster prevention. He is a proud member of the Ada Business Association, Caledonia Chamber of Commerce, and South Kent Chamber of Commerce and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Gaines Township Chamber of Commerce.

Ted Brummel
Ted Brummel is our owner at SERVPRO of Southeast Grand Rapids. He joined the franchise in 2014 as a Production Technician and was quickly promoted to his position as a Project Manager due to his prior experience in restoration. After managing crews and projects for some time, Ted purchased the business and provide the best service in the industry. SERVPRO's extensive training programs combined with his 25 years of experience in restoration make Ted a Subject matter expert that you can trust.
Ted has successfully competed the following certification from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC): Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT), Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration (SRT), Odor Control, Commercial Carpet care, Journeyman Textile Cleaner, Bio-Hazard Clean Up, Severe Safety Training, and Applied Structural Drying (ASD).
On a daily basis, Ted communicates with insurance adjusters, insurance agents, and home/business owners to be sure that the the entire process moves forward smoothly and efficiently. As one of our owners, he personally monitors the progress of active jobs. Our clients can have confidence that they are in the best and most capable hands.
Ted and his wife are involved in their local Christian Schools with their 4 children. He enjoys fishing and grilling.

Nate Sinke is a Crew Chief at SERVPRO of Southeast Grand Rapids. Upon joining our Team in 2016 he completed our rigorous SERVPRO Employee Certification Training Program (ECTP). This program teaches advanced cleaning and restoration techniques and how to properly use our state-of-the-art equipment. This training program also focuses on listening skills and customer service. In addition to ETCP training, Nate also holds the following certifications from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC): Water Removal Technician, Bio-Hazard Clean Up, Severe Safety Training, and Applied Structural Drying (ASD).
You will find Nate making whatever setting he finds himself in better on a daily basis; whether that means taking care of an emergency situation, or monitoring the progress and positioning of our machines for maximum efficiency. Nate brings a great attitude and extensive knowledge to each job.
Nate recently celebrated his 10th anniversary with his wife and has 2 kids. He is an active bicyclist and enjoys family quality time sitting by camp fires.
Brian Hurner
Brian Hurner is a Crew Chief at SERVPRO of Southeast Grand Rapids. Brian joined our Team in 2020. Brian brings several years of customer service in the restaurant management industry, and has been a great addition to our production team.

Doug Bilski
Doug is a experience carpenter, and joined SERVPRO of Southeastt Grand Rapids in 2022. He is a Project Manager on our Reconstruction Team.
Doug has had his builder's license for about 20yrs. Doug built homes for several years, then started in restoration industry as a carpenter in 2008, eventually worked up to project manager and now project managing and estimating. Doug is married, and has 3 kids, 5 grand kids. Doug's hobbies are golfing, spending time at the family cottage, swimming off the pontoon with the grandkids and camping with his wife.

Kyle is one of our construction services managers here at SERVPRO of South and NW Grand Rapids. Kylie has several years in residential construction management in the West Michigan construction industry. We are pleased to have him as a part of our team
Patty Ralya
Patricia Ralya is the Office Manager at SERVPRO of Southeast Grand Rapids! Patricia brings a strong background in business administration, holding a Bachelor’s degree from Ferris State University. With over a decade of experience in commercial site acquisition, project management, and real estate management for major companies, she is well-prepared to lead our remediation and construction divisions with expertise and efficiency. Beyond her professional achievements, Patricia has been happily married to her husband, Eric, for 18 years. Together, they are proud parents to their son, Finnegan, who keeps them busy with football, basketball, and travel baseball. The Ralya family loves traveling, boating, and spending time at their cottage, and they recently welcomed a 5-month-old Cavapoo, Paisley-Jane, into their home. Stephanie Kelly
Stephanie Kelly has been with SERVPRO since July 2015, beginning her journey as a fire technician. She gained hands-on experience cleaning fire-damaged properties on-site and restoring contents in the shop. After a year in the field, she transitioned into the office and eventually found her place in the reconstruction department, where she has been for the past six years. Outside of work, Stephanie loves vacationing in Bradenton, Florida—her favorite getaway spot. As a proud boy mom of two, much of her free time in the spring, summer, and fall is spent at the baseball field, cheering on her youngest, an avid ballplayer. Don Evertt
In 2018, Don joined SERVPRO. His journey began in locations in West Michigan and then moving to Boston, Massachusetts. He returned to West Michigan and joining SERVPRO Southeast Grand Rapids in 2024. Don's career trajectory is a testament to his hard work and dedication, as he worked his way up from a technician to a crew leader, and eventually to a project manager. His expertise is further validated by his certifications as a Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) and an Applied Structural Drying (ASD) professional, accredited by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC).
Don is a veteran, serving in the United States Marine Corp.

The Fire damage was limited to the server closet, however the soot and water damage that was left behind took the longest to restore. SERVPRO of Southeast Grand Rapids, responded to restore all damaged and salvageable goods not affected by fire or water. The team went above and beyond our expectations by their professionalism, thorough cleaning and communication skills. The store was able only closed for four days due to cleaning and was able to open the doors for business as usual upon cleaning. We are now fully operational, like it never even happened.
A tree fell on my house, during this past tornado, and the roof collapse on my bedroom. SERVPRO of Southeast Grand Rapids cleaned up the room “Like it never even happened.”
Ground water came into my home during a recent rain storm SERVPRO extracted and sprayed antimicrobial in all wet areas. Equipment was also placed to float the carpet, allowing it to dry underneath. The removal of the baseboard was and drilling a hole in the wall is a genius way to dry out the walls preventing mold growth and keep damage cost down. Thanks SERVPRO!
Heavy rain storm hit my property and water flooded my basement through the sliding glass door affecting two rooms. John and Amanda arrived and mitigated the water, removed the carpet pad and sprayed sporicidin to prevent mold growth. I really appreciate the effort and equipment you used to take care of my family.
