Scotville is located in the middle of Mason County at the intersection of US-10 and US-31. All rural house numbering for the entire county starts at Scottville with 000 in all four directions. Scottville is also the home of the world famous Scottville Clown Band. Started in 1903, the band has members from across the country and has brought many musicians to live in the area. Scottville is also home to West Shore Community College which has also benefited from the musical heritage of the area.
