In 1984, Vince Whittles began building the SERVPRO brand in the areas of St. Mary's and Calvert Counties, MD. While on the job building his clientele, he met his wife, Sherry Whittles, where they later got married in 1994. Since then, SERVPRO of St. Mary's and Calvert Counties has continued to grow through dedication and excellence. SERVPRO of St. Mary's and Calvert Counties is not only locally owned but a family business. Their son, Chad Day, took over as General Manager in and sons followed suit as with Dustin Whittles as the Marketing Mananger and Dylan Whittles as the Construction Mananger. The Whittles take pride in the excellent customer service, the hard-working team and most importantly the trust their clients have in the Cleanup and Restoration process. I have used SERVPRO of Saint Mary's and Calvert many times over the years for carpet cleaning and duct cleaning. I have always been very pleased with the customer service and cleaning results.
My wife and I want you to know of our appreciation for the tremendous service offered by members of your Company.
Earlier this year we had a misfortune of having the interior of our house and its contents covered with soot from a malfunctioning fuel oil furnace. SERVPRO cleaned the walls, ceilings, floors, doors and some of the contents May 7-9. SERVPRO members involved in the cleanup were:
Todd, Frank, Jon, Tommy and Eddie
All five of them were very professional. They reviewed with us in detail the work to be done and were proactive in suggesting that painting certain parts of the house are necessary when they were doing the remediation. All five of the employees seemed to know what to do and when to do it. They were thorough in their cleaning, while, at the same time being courteous and pleasant. My wife and I were amazed at how meticulous and helpful they were in the cleaning process.
This is our first major experience with SERVPRO. (We had used SERVPRO years ago {Eddie} to clean our HVAC ducts, which was also a favorable experience.) We are happily relating to our friends how SERVPRO came to our rescue in dealing with the soot issue.

After a few years of normal wear and tear, SERVPRO came in and did a phenomenal job steam cleaning our carpets. They were rejuvenated to look like new! The crew was efficient and friendly, and the cleaning cost very affordable. Highly recommend.
SERVPRO blasted my crawlspace when I bought the house, and it made an immediate difference with smell in the house. If you have a moldy crawlspace this is a must, really a no brainer! The wood still looks new almost 10 years later.
I have to say that dealing with SERVPRO was absolutely seamless. From the initial call, to the site visit, and through the three days of cleaning, I couldn't have asked for a better crew. Robby was outstanding, and made sure all of our needs were met with ease. Thanks again for the great work everyone!
