The crew that came out was great. When I had an issue, the 1st people to see on site were the guys. You were with me throughout the entire process. The crew was very helpful and advised me of each step as we progressed through the process.
Recently the hot water heater in my house had leaked all over the floors in my basement. Our carpeting, furniture and walls were wet. I work at the local library and we had used SERVPRO of Elgin/Northwest Kane County to handle a huge loss we had recently endured. I saw the good work they did, and I hoped they would be able to do the same for my house.
They were great! They came out quickly and sucked up all the water and set up drying equipment. They were able to save everything for us and were also able to reinstall the carpet pad and clean the carpets when they were done.
SERVPRO of Elgin/Northwest Kane County was asked to come in and clean the carpets in our offices. We were especially concerned about the heavy staining in some areas, especially in front of our coffee bar.
The guys did a great job! The carpeting looks and smells great and the staining in front of the coffee bar is completely gone.

I love my new floors, they look great! Also, although I was originally hesitant on putting in the interior window between the kitchen and living room like my husband wanted, I really love it!! It adds so much light.

We woke to the sound of the fire department knocking on our door. It was so scary. We could smell some smoke but we couldn't see where it was coming from. The fire department found that our door bell in the ceiling of our living room had shorted out and started some insulation on fire.
Apparently, the fire was smoldering for a while because some of the ceiling joists were completed burned through.
SERVPRO of Elgin is so helpful. Shannon in the office was very informative. Mitch was able to pack out our clothes and return many of them to us in just a couple of days.
Although we still have to get our home rebuilt, we are very happy with the service your team is providing us. Your company is the best!
SERVPRO of Elgin did the cleaning of all our smoke damaged clothing. I couldn't believe how good everything came out. Simply amazing.
All of your guys were so polite and helpful. I was so impressed with your ability to clean all of our clothes, especially my long leather coat. I have to be honest, it looks better than it did prior to the fire.

Where did we start - George and Marg Jackowiec joined the SERVPRO family back in 2003 and we love what we do! We purchased our Elgin/Northwest Kane County territory first. We purchase our 2nd territory, DeKalb County in 2020 and our Aurora territory in 2022. George and Marg Jackowiec both came from professional backgrounds but felt they wanted to have more control over their careers and make a difference!
