We had some water in the basement of our rental which our daughter and grandson live in. We had concerns about mold and how that would effect our grandson. We contacted SERVPRO of DeKalb County based on the fact that I had heard about the good will gesture they had done to my grandson's daycare center recently. They needed the carpets cleaned and needed the service donated, which SERVPRO gladly did. We were thrilled with their work and how they got the mold taken care of. As an owner of renal properties in DeKalb I have had a need for restoration companies more then the average person. I have always been happy with the response,professionalism and service SERVPRO has given us. I will mostly certainly continue to use them and will recommend them to others in the future.
I recently had about 2 feet of water in my basement. I am in the process of selling my home and was unsure of the coverage I had for a sump pump. I contacted SERVPRO of DeKalb County late one Sunday night about coming to help but as you can imagine I had a lot of questions also. I wanted the job to be taken care of but was worried about the bill. Not only did they do a great job with the water, they kept me informed of the cost as we went along and answered all my questions! My house closed on schedule and I didn't get a huge bill that I didn't need. I would totally chose to work with them again.
We had what they are calling the 100 year flood here. I had a tenant in my strip center that had flooding in the basement and was overwhelmed thinking that all his inventory was going to be ruined. I call Steve and his crew right away to help him out. He and I were very please with the results and in a area known to flood we will keep their number handy for next time.
