Barwick is one of the smallest towns in Georgia with the population of 360 in 2021. The small town was incorporated in 1903. It is located between Thomas and Brooks counties which is Valdosta area. There isn’t many businesses or stores in this town, but they are all family orientated. The town does have Barwick Packing Company, fire station, a few churches and more. Barwick is another town that continues the antique living with the buildings. In Barwick there is a building called Barwick Billiards but there is so much they do for the community. They hold benefits for people in and out of the community. Just about every weekend, they have bands coming on Friday and Saturday night to entertain everyone. This past weekend, they had Shane Owens there along with a DJs to go buggy ride and had plenty of fresh grilled foods! Every time they are open, they have the grill and fryer going for some fresh meals on your way thru for a quick pit stop. Small towns have some of the best businesses.
