The elevation of Quintette is 95 feet, and Quintette appears on the Molino U.S. Geological Survey Map. Being in Escambia County, it is in the Central Time Zone. It is a suburb of Pensacola, and is located in the Pensacola metropolitan Area. Quintette is located north of Gonzalez, and south of Molino. It is centered around U.S. Route 29, and extends to the Perdido River to the west, and the Escambia River to the east. Located approximately 9 miles northwest of Pace and off Quintette Road, Quintette Landing Recreation Area is a day-use area featuring a small boat launch, a portable toilet, a pier, and a short walking trail. The boat launch is suitable for canoes, kayaks, and small boats. Parking is available for vehicles towing boat trailers and the boat launch provides access to the Escambia River, the fourth-largest river in Florida and home to more than 85 native freshwater fish species. The day-use area is open from dawn to dusk and launching and retrieval of boats is allowed at all times, and this outdoor attraction is a well-known favorite all over the state of Florida.
