A River Town
Settled on the Naugatuck River in New Haven County, Ansonia is known for being a manufacturing town throughout its history. The river played, and still does play, a big role in the town's development. Today's Ansonia, while still having many thriving businesses, is also known for it's green space. People throughout the area visit the Ansonia Nature & Recreation Center for hikes as well as classes and events. While we are grateful for the river and how it has helped the town grow, flooding has been an issue throughout the town's history. Most notably, in 1955, Hurricane Diane caused the river to overflow and many homes and businesses were destroyed on Main Street. I made the call late at night, and Matt was at my house in a short time. After he made the assessment and explained everything, Chris and Zach came with all the necessary equipment and set it up. I am so impressed with their technical knowledge and professionalism. I was so stressed and exhausted, and yet, even though they were working through the night, the crew was calm and pleasant.
The drying-up process has been monitored carefully, and some adjustments have been made.
So, I am writing this review to let anyone know that if you run into an emergency, call SERVPRO immediately, before the situation gets worse.
These ladies did an outstanding job at our home. I would highly recommend your services.
