    Douglas Scott

    Douglas Scott is the proud co-owner of SERVPRO of Elk Grove, a position he shares with his wife, Kelsey, since they took over the franchise in 2014. Doug plays an instrumental role in overseeing large loss jobs, including responding to major catastrophic events like wildfires and hurricanes. He was involved in the restoration efforts following the Camp Fire in Northern California in 2018. Beyond his hands-on work with disaster recovery, Doug is always planning for the future, focusing on the growth and success of the company.

    Doug holds several certifications, including Lead Paint Abatement from the EPA and various certifications from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), such as Water Damage Restoration, Fire & Smoke Restoration, and Applied Structural Drying. His background includes five years of service as a military police officer in the U.S. Army, including a fifteen-month tour in Baghdad. Doug later pursued business studies at Central Texas College, honing his leadership, management, and networking skills.

    When he's not working, Doug enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing, fishing, and camping with his five children. His family motivates him to strive for excellence, both in the business world and as a parent. Doug believes in empowering his team members to take ownership of their roles and grow independently, which he believes is key to the company’s ongoing success.

    Arturo Guedea

    Arturo is the General Manager at SERVPRO of Elk Grove, where he has been a part of the team since January 2019. He has earned certifications from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) in Water Restoration, Fire Restoration, and Biohazard Trauma and Cleanup. Arturo started his career as a production technician and quickly moved up to production manager, eventually taking on his current role as General Manager.

    In his previous position, Arturo managed various responsibilities, such as communicating with adjusters and customers, obtaining project approvals, assigning jobs to crew chiefs and technicians, and overseeing project progress. He also took charge of team training to ensure that everyone was on the same page regarding their duties. Arturo’s goal is to continue empowering his team to reach new levels of success and performance.

    Before transitioning into the restoration industry, Arturo worked as a server and caregiver for elderly residents, where he honed his skills in communication and customer service. Outside of work, Arturo enjoys sketching monochrome portraits, boxing (a sport he has competed in since age 11), and playing the piano. Arturo is passionate about helping his team develop and ensuring customers have a smooth and reassuring experience during the restoration process.

  • Kelsey Scott, team member at SERVPRO of Elk Grove

    Kelsey Scott

    As co-owner of SERVPRO of Elk Grove, Kelsey Scott has worked alongside her husband, Douglas, since 2014. Kelsey is responsible for a range of duties, including managing large loss restoration projects during disaster responses and overseeing the company’s financials, including daily transactions and final job billing. She also leads employee training initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement by identifying areas where additional skills or education are needed.

    Kelsey’s qualifications include certifications as a Licensed General Contractor, as well as IICRC certifications in Water Damage Restoration and Fire & Smoke Restoration. She is also a Bio-Recovery Technician, certified by the American Bio-Recovery Association (ABRA). Before joining SERVPRO, Kelsey worked as a Veterinary Technician in an Emergency and Critical Care unit, showcasing her long-standing compassion for animals. Her love for horses, which began at age two, continues to be a significant part of her life.

    Outside of her professional role, Kelsey enjoys spending time camping with her husband and five children. She is motivated by the opportunity to empower others, particularly her daughters, by showing them that women can thrive in male-dominated fields. Kelsey is passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences, addressing client concerns with empathy, and ensuring her team is equipped to make sound decisions while providing guidance when necessary.

    Kimberly Huynh

    As the Office Manager at SERVPRO of Elk Grove, Kimmy joined the team in September 2020. Kimmy earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Sonoma State University and an M.S. in Advertising & Marketing from the University of Hull in England.

    Outside of work, Kimmy enjoys dancing, painting, reading, and traveling. She is driven by the support of her family and thrives on the opportunity to engage in creative projects that help grow the company. Kimmy is dedicated to ensuring that customers are aware of SERVPRO’s services and that they have a seamless and positive experience from start to finish.

    Loralei Langford is the Marketing Support Coordinator at SERVPRO of Elk Grove, joining the team in 2022.
