Lake Balboa is a neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles, California. The area was previously part of Van Nuys. Lake Balboa is adjacent to the Van Nuys Airport which is heavily trafficked by celebrities because of the easy access to private jets. Lake Balboa is named after Lake Balboa. There is a beautiful park surrounding the lake that many people enjoy. There are paths to walk, hike, run and bike.
Lake Balboa is also conveniently located near the 101 and the 405 Freeway. Just accross the Santa Monica Mountains are communities like Beverly Hills and Hollywood. Lake Balboa is neighbored on the north by Northridge, on the east by Van Nuys, on the south by the Sepulveda Basin and on the west by Reseda.<supMappingLAColoredMap_3-0">[3] Its street and other boundaries are Roscoe Boulevard on the north, Balboa Place, the Van Nuys Airport, Hayvenhurst Avenue and Odessa Avenue on the east, Victory Boulevard on the south and White Oak Avenue on the west.
Water damage happens often during the summer months when air conditioners are working overtime.
