Cowell Cleanup and Restoration

Cowell is a suburban area of Concord. This small suburban town was once a company town for Cowell Portland Cement that started in 1908 to build a company town around it. It came after the 1096 earthquake in San Francisco. The owner Joshua Cowell had a vision of cement for the bay area. The company came to an end in 1946. It is apart of the Concord and east bay for having a cement company in the area. It is still a historic site that helped with the railroads and other companies which made an impact at the beginning of 20^th century.

 Although Cowell has some history t is home to many residents and other business. Surrounding the area it has access to water damage and fire damage. Many reemits of the old Cowell has been long gone since 2009, but many homes are still in its place.  With great local homes, Next to the area, there is a rescue sanctuary such as Avian Rescue. Many birds from all over to the ocean and forest area come to the rescue to get help and possibly released back into the wild or a forever home. Cowell also has the Concord Community Park which has many places for any residents, visitors and others to come and enjoy.  One can always go around Cowell to get fabulous recreation at The Concord Community Pool. At the community pool there are fun activities and programs for aquatics.
