For those visiting this page not familiar with the Lehi Community Improvement area, it was originally settled in 1877 as Fort Utah and was renamed Lehi in 1883. The area was annexed into the city of Mesa, Arizona in 1970, almost 100 years later. It is the home to the Mesa Historical Museum and The Fort Utah Historical Marker.
