The Plum Bayou Mounds Archeological State Park, formerly known as the Toltec Mounds Archeological State Park, is four miles from Scott.  Native Americans, from 1,000 years ago, built the mounds for ceremonial purposes and to track the seasons of the year.  The park is a favorite destination for archeological and history buffs and is one of the most significant historical settings of Native American life in Arkansas.  Other points of interest include the Plantation Agriculture Museum, the Scott Plantation Settlement, and The Chapel of All Souls Church, providing continuous services since 1906.
