Harmon is an unincorported community in Washington County, Arkansas. Harmon Township is located southwest of Tontitown on Harmon Road. The township claims a population of 2,024 people, according to the 2020 census. The township covers 23.1 square miles, yielding an 87.5 people per square mile population density. The median age is 33.2 years with 45% of the population being 18 to 64 years of age. The majority of the population is male, with 44% of the census responders being female. Founded in 1992 through an initial investment from Sam and Helen Walton, this non-profit organization presents a full season of Broadway dance, theater, music, jazz, and family programming. The Walton Arts Center brings more than 20,000 school-aged children to live performances through the Colgate Classroom series of performances. In partnership with the John F. Kennedy Center, the Walton Arts Center trains local teachers in arts integration techniques.
