SERVPRO of Hayward
Taj Pelkowski
Taj has been with SERVPRO for 4 ½ years. He is one of our Leading crew chiefs and is a Leader of our crews. He is ECTP (Employee Crew Training Program) in Fire Damage and Water Damage. He is also IICRC Certified in WRT Water Restoration Technician. Outside of work he enjoys taking care of his son and spending time with his family and friends. Taj’s hobbies include music and traveling. He is also an avid reptile owner and enthusiast.

James Kannegiesser
James has been working at SERVPRO for 5 ½ years and has worked at both of our franchisees. He plays a huge part in leading our crews as one of our Crew Chiefs. James has completed the SERVPRO Employee Crew Training Program for Fire Damage and Water Damage. along with IICRC certifications in WRT Water Restoration Technician, IICRC Carpet Cleaning Technician and AMRT Applied Mold Remediation Technician. In the past year, he has traveled to help with STORM Team in Flooding Events and Hurricane Events. On the side he enjoys working with Carlson Construction. When James is not working, he enjoys going to as well as taking part in stock car races and derbies. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, spending time with friends, and golfing. His fiancé and 1 year old daughter, Oakley, are especially important to him and he enjoys spending time with his little family. He also takes pride in being a volunteer firefighter on the Town of Hayward Fire Department.

Cody Gullickson
Cody is one of our Production Technicians here at SERVPRO and he has just met his one-year mark of being a part of our crew. In Cody’s first year he traveled to help with STORM Team in Flooding Events and Hurricane Events. He is ECTP Fire and Water Certified and has completed the SERVPRO Employee Training Courses. Outside of work he enjoys going hunting and fishing anytime he can. Cody enjoys spending time with his girlfriend Chanel and son Steph.

Mike Perona
Mike is a Production Technician and has just met his one-year mark with us. He has completed the SERVPRO Employee Training Courses and is ECTP Fire and Water Certified. Mike is such a friendly and caring guy who is a proud volunteer once a week at our local food shelf. He has been helping there since they first opened! This year he received the 2022 Volunteer of the Year Award.

Val Shirriff
Val is a new member to our team at SERVPRO. She just started middle of October as our new Office Manager. We are happy to have her here! When she isn’t at work, she enjoys spending quality time with friends and family. Val also enjoys cooking, live music, and disc golfing!

Chelsea Merten
Chelsea just started at SERVPRO middle of October as our new Marketing Manager. We are happy to have her as part of our team. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends outside of work. Chelsea loves spending time with her 1 year old daughter, Oakley, and her fiancé. She also likes hunting fishing, traveling and is an animal lover – turtles are her favorite!
