What Is the Mold Remediation Process?

Our specialized filtration equipment allows our professionals to capture microscopic mold spores out of the air. We utilize powerful “air scrubbers” and HEPA vacuums to prevent the spread of these mold spores while the mold remediation is in process.
Removing Mold and Mold-Infested Materials
We use antifungal and antimicrobial treatments to treat mold colonies. When necessary to remediate heavy mold growth, our mold removal process includes the removal and disposal of mold-infested porous materials such as carpeting, drywall, and insulation.

I live in Williamsburg, VA and hired the local SERVPRO experts to advise me about remediation of my personal possessions, when I had to evacuate a mold-contaminated apartment here on the East Coast. I'd hired an IH and also had an ERMI test that confirmed that over 20 species of mold had permeated the drywall and air ducts into my apt. Among them were 2 of the most dangerous to human and animal health! Though I lived in a high-end apartment, corporate owners would never hire professional mold remediators to deal with excessive external and internal water intrusions.
