What Is the Mold Remediation Process?
Air Filtration
Our specialized filtration equipment allows our professionals to capture microscopic mold spores out of the air. We utilize powerful “air scrubbers” and HEPA vacuums to prevent the spread of these mold spores while the mold remediation is in process.
Removing Mold and Mold-Infested Materials
We use antifungal and antimicrobial treatments to treat mold colonies. When necessary to remediate heavy mold growth, our mold removal process includes the removal and disposal of mold-infested porous materials such as carpeting, drywall, and insulation.
Cleaning
Our professionals clean the structural elements that were infected by mold such as flooring, framing, fixtures, HVAC and mechanical systems. The other day I was going down for my morning coffee and realized I was going to have to swim through the living room to get to the kitchen. I quickly called SERVPRO after seeing their truck outside of my neighbors. They were at my house within minutes and got to work right away. After the extraction, and a few days of drying, everything was back to the way it was. I've never experienced this before and they were very helpful with fixing everything and explaining what they were doing and what needed to be done. I am SO thankful for them. SERVPRO came to my house when we had our water heater bust. We had about 7 inches of water in our basement. Within about 40 minutes of us calling they were here. They were very quick with the mitigation and the had all the water out and set equipment within the 3 hours they were here. The crew was very nice and efficient.
They were friendly, and listened to my concerns. They were able to quickly and efficiently take care of the issue. They did a great job.
