SERVPRO of Greater Smithtown
Frank Solano
Frank gained a vast knowledge of welding and over 35 years experience in several different trades before becoming the owner and president of SERVPRO of Greater Smithtown. He opened the franchise in 2007 with one van, limited equipment, and was determined to grow the company. Since then, he expanded the franchise to a 3,000 square foot building, a fleet of vehicles, a full inventory of equipment, and manages a large office staff and several production crews. He has his Water Remediation Technician, Fire & Smoke Restoration, Applied Structural Drying, and Applied Microbial Restoration certifications from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). Frank obtained his United States Environmental Protection Association Lead Certification, is a State of New York Mold Abatement Supervisor, and has attended training to maintain compliance with the EPA Lead RRP (Renovation, Repair and Painting) Program. He is also a licensed General Contractor in Suffolk County, NY and is licensed through New York State for Mold Remediation. He has been known to be able to fix anything! When he is not spending time with his 3 children and wife of over 30 years, he enjoys fishing and operating his Ham Radio.
