What Is the Mold Remediation Process?
Air Filtration
Our specialized filtration equipment allows our professionals to capture microscopic mold spores out of the air. We utilize powerful “air scrubbers” and HEPA vacuums to prevent the spread of these mold spores while the mold remediation is in process.
Removing Mold and Mold-Infested Materials
We use antifungal and antimicrobial treatments to treat mold colonies. When necessary to remediate heavy mold growth, our mold removal process includes the removal and disposal of mold-infested porous materials such as carpeting, drywall, and insulation.
Cleaning
Our professionals clean the structural elements that were infected by mold such as flooring, framing, fixtures, HVAC and mechanical systems. Lathe has a terrific crew, who are very skilled, polite, punctual, and importantly very helpful. We had issues associated with the water leak in the basement. Despite it being New Year's Eve, Lathe’s team arrived immediately on our initial phone call and took care of the entire process. Chris and Kevin were on point in mitigating the issue at hand and we were very impressed to see how quickly and neatly the task was accomplished. Another of their colleague Trevor, also deserves kudos for following up for the next three days, followed by Lathe (owner) in person on the last day. We had a minor technical glitch with our microwave, but his team was very accommodating in sorting the issue out. This was very sweet of them. In summary, I am absolutely impressed with this crew and they are on my speed dial should any issues arise in the future. They are indeed the go to guys in case of a home related emergency.

They not only did an amazing job with their work but they gave me suggestions on who to talk to about the other issues we were having in our basement. Jesse and team did great work in removing the items and also explained everything. I hope we never need this service again but if we do, I wouldn't choose anyone else and know help is a phone call away.

The Tofts purchased the Omaha Southwest franchise in July of 2019 after relocating from northwest Iowa where they were co-owners of SERVPRO of Spencer & Iowa Great Lakes.
