December 16, 2016, our home caught on fire and was virtually a total loss.  We contacted Dave McMillen to inventory all of our possessions, deconstruct the damage, and rebuild our home.  SERVPRO was fast and thorough, giving me guidance and peace of mind as we navigated the rough waters of swinging emotions of loss and the headache of insurance procedures.  Dave and his men did such a wonderful job that when my job relocated me to another state and I had to sell my home 2 years later, my home had appreciated in value $45,000 above our purchase price in 2014.

 I had a client suffer a fire.  The fire was in some of the coldest days of the year.   I called Dave McMillen and requested his assistance.  Dave met me at the scene the very next morning.   The home had received major damage and everything was frozen.  Dave assessed the situation and provided me with his preliminary thoughts.  This was also the time when the cold weather had plagued him with water damage claims, however he still met me in person the morning after the fire.   The same morning I was able to introduce Dave to my clients.  Dave had a discussion with my clients, explained SERVPRO and what he could provide.  I expressed to my client that they were free to call in a restoration company of their choice.  I also express that, I called Dave, and brought SERVPRO in for a reason and  the fact that Dave was standing here with us in their destroyed home literally hours after the event and ready to go to work spoke volumes.  My clients asked for Dave’s services that day.  A small portion of that was due to my recommendation.  The major determination was Dave’s explanation of the process, the fashion that he described the road ahead of the client, and also the professional appearance of Dave’s team.  Dave had Pack Rat storage containers on sight the same day.    So I am writing this to thank SERVPRO and Dave for their dedication to my client.  It is a benefit to have Dave as a resource, when my clients have potentially one of the worst days they have had in a while.
