What Is the Mold Remediation Process?
Air Filtration
Our specialized filtration equipment allows our professionals to capture microscopic mold spores out of the air. We utilize powerful “air scrubbers” and HEPA vacuums to prevent the spread of these mold spores while the mold remediation is in process.
Removing Mold and Mold-Infested Materials
We use antifungal and antimicrobial treatments to treat mold colonies. When necessary to remediate heavy mold growth, our mold removal process includes the removal and disposal of mold-infested porous materials such as carpeting, drywall, and insulation.
Cleaning
Our professionals clean the structural elements that were infected by mold such as flooring, framing, fixtures, HVAC and mechanical systems. We will also work to improve the indoor air quality (IAQ) of the space. Other items may also require extra attention after a mold infestation, including curtains, décor and important documents.
Restoration
Depending on the level of mold damage, drywall, subfloors, and other building materials may be removed. Restoration may involve minor repairs, such as replacing drywall, painting, and installing new carpet. It may entail major repairs such as the reconstruction of various areas or rooms in your home.
Emergency Contact
The mold cleanup and restoration process begins when you call us. Our specialist will ask a series of questions to help us determine the necessary equipment, resources, and personnel needed for you and your home.
Inspection and Mold Damage Assessment
Our professionals will carefully inspect your property for visible signs of mold. Using a variety of technologies, we can detect mold and locate any hidden water sources so the mold will not return once the area is cleaned and the mold removal process has been completed.
Mold Containment
We use various containment procedures to prevent the spread and cross-contamination of mold. All fans and heating and cooling systems will be turned off to prevent the spread as our professionals work to mitigate your mold problem.

About Us
Founded in 1967, the SERVPRO® franchise system is most widely known for their fire and water cleanup and restoration services. The network of individually owned and operated franchises responds to property damage emergencies. SERVPROresponds to emergencies ranging from small individual disasters to multi-million dollar, large-loss situations, providing coverage in all 50 states, as well as Canada.
Starting in 1996, Randy Miller was an early pioneer to the mid-Michigan area SERVPRO system. Since then, the franchise system has grown to over 1800 individually owned and operated franchises. Originally, Randy started in Genesee County and expanded into Saginaw in 1997. Randy has grown, acquired, and sold multiple territories throughout Michigan. With their headquarters based in Saginaw, MI, they currently operate licenses in Saginaw, Bay City, Midland, Romulus, Taylor, Downriver, Westland, Shiawassee, New Center, Highland Park, and West Sterling Heights. They have now expanded into the state of Indiana and have licenses in Fort Wayne, Downtown Indianapolis, Hendricks County, and Greenwood.
The Saginaw-based franchise has been ranked in the top 10 for the past 16 years, including top producer twice. As one of SERVPRO’s prestigious Extreme Team franchises, a large portion of their business is providing support to other franchises—primarily on commercial losses and traveling the country for catastrophic events such as floods, tornadoes and hurricanes.
Our Saginaw based franchise offers many services beyond the fire and water cleanup and restoration services; such as abatement, commercial cleaning, disaster preparedness consulting and training, maintenance, relocation and reconstruction services, just to name a few.
We continue to grow and improve due to our team consistently proving they are the best of the best. We are also beyond grateful for our local community, who has also played a large role in our accomplishments, without their trust in our services and brand we would not have earned this recognition.
