Jeff Vermillion
Since 2004, Jeff has proudly owned and operated SERVPRO of Sarasota, bringing over two decades of dedication and leadership to the restoration and cleaning industry. Originally from Ohio, he made Sarasota his home, building a reputation for integrity, reliability, and a deep commitment to customer care.
A proud father of three grown sons, Jeff's values family, hard work, and maintaining a positive outlook. Known for always wearing a smile, he approaches both business and life with optimism and a focus on making thoughtful, steady decisions—always aiming to avoid the big mistakes and stay grounded in common sense.
While retirement is on the horizon someday, he continues to be passionate about serving the Sarasota community, leading his team with the same energy and enthusiasm he brought to the business from day one.
Brandon Vermillion
Brandon Vermillion serves as the General Manager of SERVPRO of Sarasota, bringing a strong background in leadership, public service, and customer-focused operations. A former sworn law enforcement officer with five years of dedicated service, Brandon made the purposeful decision to transition into the restoration industry, following in the footsteps of his father.
In his role at SERVPRO, Brandon combines his disciplined background with a deep commitment to helping others during times of crisis. His focus on team development, operational excellence, and community engagement has helped elevate SERVPRO of Sarasota’s reputation for reliable and compassionate service.
Outside of work, Brandon enjoys quality time with his wife and young son, whether they’re lounging by the pool or enjoying a family movie night—usually featuring a Harry Potter film. A passionate youth soccer coach, he values the opportunity to mentor and inspire young athletes. At home, Brandon is also a devoted pet owner with a full house of furry companions.
With a heart for service and a strong sense of family and community, Brandon brings both professionalism and warmth to everything he does.
Brian Courtney
As a dedicated Job File Coordinator at SERVPRO of Sarasota, Brian brings a unique blend of cultural perspective, precision, and heart to the team. Growing up across Western Europe instilled in him a strong work ethic, adaptability, and appreciation for diverse experiences—qualities that serve him well in a fast-paced restoration environment.
With a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to customer satisfaction, [Your Name] ensures every file is handled with care, accuracy, and efficiency. He’s the behind-the-scenes force helping keep projects moving smoothly and clients informed every step of the way.
Outside of work, he’s a proud father of four and a grandfather to a wonderful granddaughter. He loves nothing more than firing up the BBQ and spending quality time with his family—and his two loyal dogs always close by. A lifelong Star Trek fan, he’s all about exploration, problem-solving, and boldly going where no coordinator has gone before.
Brian has set his sights on a well-earned retirement on December 31, 2031, but until then, he continues to bring his passion, professionalism, and a touch of personality to every job he handles.
Jason Werstler
Jason Werstler has been a dedicated part of the SERVPRO of Sarasota team since 2005, bringing two decades of experience, reliability, and leadership to his role as Lead Technician. Known for his loyalty and trustworthiness, Jason is a go-to team member when it comes to tackling tough jobs and supporting his crew in the field.
Originally joining SERVPRO during a period of transition from a previous job, Jason quickly found his stride in the restoration industry. His strong work ethic and genuine care for people have made him a cornerstone of the team ever since. Though he once dreamed of becoming a firefighter, Jason has found a different way to help people in their time of need—restoring homes and businesses after water, fire, and mold damage.
When he’s not on the job, Jason enjoys spending quality time with his four children and casting a line out on the water—fishing being one of his favorite pastimes. While many might start thinking about retirement after so many years of service, Jason has no plans to slow down just yet. His commitment to his work and his team continues to drive him every day.
Paul Schott
From Buffalo, NY Paul has been with the SERVPRO family since 2022 as our Director of Business Development. Although his dream was to be a professional hockey player when he grew up our team here in Sarasota cant get enough of Paul's positive attitude and trustworthiness. Paul has 3 grown children in which he instilled life lessons such as " if at first you don't succeed, keep trying until you do".
Leo Esponda
Leo Esponda is a skilled carpenter originally from Cuba, whose journey has been shaped by dedication, craftsmanship, and the pursuit of the American dream. His fondest memory remains the day he arrived in the United States—a milestone that marked the beginning of a new chapter filled with opportunity, hard work, and personal growth.
Leo brings his talents to SERVPRO of Sarasota, where he handles all reconstruction work with precision and pride. Known for his attention to detail and reliability, he plays a vital role in helping clients rebuild and recover with confidence.
Outside of work, Leo is a passionate tattoo artist—a lifelong dream he's nurtured since childhood. Whether it's carpentry or tattooing, his work is always guided by creativity, patience, and a deep respect for his craft.
Family and friendships are at the heart of everything Leo does. He lives in Sarasota with his wife, and together they are excited to grow their family, not just with children but with beloved pets as well. For Leo, every day is a chance to build something meaningful—at work, at home, and in his community.
Nicole Castelli
Originally from New Jersey, Nicole Castelli brings over 13 years of experience with SERVPRO to her role as Office Manager at SERVPRO of Sarasota. Since relocating to Florida in 2023, Nicole has become an integral part of the Sarasota team, known for her confident leadership, unwavering determination, and great sense of humor.
A proud mother of two boys, ages 15 and 4, Nicole balances her professional life with a deep love for family, sunny days on Sarasota Bay, and the occasional shopping trip. Her favorite movie, Forrest Gump, reflects her belief in resilience, heart, and the power of making meaningful connections.
To her coworkers, Nicole is more than a manager—she’s a motivator and a friend, someone who leaves a lasting impression through her energy and empathy. She hopes to be remembered not just for what she accomplished, but for how she made others feel along the way.
Nicole is counting down to a well-earned retirement alongside her husband, with plans to celebrate their next chapter together on September 6, 2045.
Justin Policard
Born in New York and raised in Georgia, Justin Policard brings a calm, collected presence and a wealth of experience to his role as an estimator at SERVPRO of Sarasota. His journey in the mitigation and restoration industry began as a catastrophe adjuster, where he traveled across the country helping communities recover in times of need. That hands-on experience laid a strong foundation for his expertise in property damage assessment and project estimation.
Known for his cool demeanor and detail-oriented approach, Justin is a trusted resource for both clients and team members navigating the restoration process. Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with family and friends on the weekends, indulging in his favorite food—cheeseburgers—and catching a John Wick movie whenever he can. A fan of the outdoors and mountain air, Justin loves vacationing in Colorado whenever the chance arises.
With a strong work ethic, a heart for service, and a laid-back attitude, Justin is a key part of the SERVPRO of Sarasota team.
Leyla Emmons
Born on Halloween in St. Petersburg, Florida, Leyla Emmons brings a special kind of spirit to SERVPRO of Sarasota. As a Lead Technician, she’s known for her dependability, loyalty, and quick sense of humor—traits that make her an irreplaceable part of the team and a reassuring presence for clients in times of stress.
Leyla grew up in Polk County and originally dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. Though her path led her into restoration and remediation, her care for others—people and pets alike—still shines through in everything she does.
Outside of work, Leyla treasures time to simply relax and recharge. She is a proud mom of adult children and cherishes the memory of all the laughs and silly moments shared with her late mother, who continues to inspire her every day.
Whether she’s on the job or off the clock, Leyla’s genuine nature and unwavering reliability make her someone people are grateful to know.
Joseph Ritchie
Born and raised in Crestview, Florida, Joseph Ritchie brings a strong work ethic and a laid-back attitude to the SERVPRO of Sarasota team. Since joining in September 2024, Joseph has been a dedicated restoration technician, known for his reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to helping people through tough situations.
Outside of work, Joseph is all about the outdoors—whether it’s grilling up something good, casting a line while fishing, or spending time hunting. A true fan of comedy, he’s rarely without a quote from a Jim Carrey movie and counts How the Grinch Stole Christmas among his all-time favorites.
Joseph combines hands-on skill with a calm, can-do spirit, making him a valued part of the SERVPRO family and a trusted hand when disaster strikes.
Debbie Shaffer
Debbie Shaffer has been bringing creativity, warmth, and dedication to SERVPRO of Sarasota since 2022 as the team's Marketing Specialist. With deep roots in Florida, where she was raised, Debbie has a natural connection to the local community and a passion for helping others understand the value of the services SERVPRO provides.
A proud mother of three and grandmother to three wonderful grandchildren, Debbie’s greatest joy comes from her family—especially the unforgettable moments when each of her children was born. As a child, she dreamed of becoming a singer, and while life led her down a different path, her vibrant personality still shines through in everything she does.
On weekends, you’ll find Debbie enjoying some well-earned relaxation time and indulging in one of her favorite treats—a classic Little Debbie snack. Her blend of professionalism, creativity, and authenticity makes her a cherished part of the SERVPRO team.
Brian McInnis
Brian McInnis is the Senior Reconstruction Manager at SERVPRO of Sarasota, where he’s been a key part of the team since 2022. Born in Quincy, Massachusetts, Brian got his start in the industry the old-school way—by learning the ropes from his father. That hands-on foundation gave him not just the skills but the passion for helping people rebuild after disaster strikes.
Known for his easygoing personality and sharp sense of humor, Brian brings a relaxed but hardworking energy to every project. Whether he's coordinating complex reconstruction efforts or jumping in to solve unexpected challenges, his dedication and drive never waver.
Outside of work, Brian’s all about quality time with his kid and hitting the water with his brother and dad for some good fishing. It's that same sense of family and teamwork that he brings into every job at SERVPRO.
