Laurie (Art) wears many hats being the Owner's Assistant, Marketing Assistant, and Accounts Receivable at SERVPRO of New Haven since December 2014. She studied at Central Connecticut State University, where she majored in Media Arts. Her biggest asset is her friendly, organized and efficient work ethic. Her Go-Getter mentality is exactly how she plans to reach her goals of increasing revenue & morale here at SERVPRO. Andrei has been a Production Manager at SERVPRO of New Haven beginning in December 2006. He started his work experience in general construction and the restoration industry many years ago with SERVPRO when he arrived in his new country. Andrei is accredited in Applied Structural Drying (ASD), Water Damage Restoration (WRT), Carpet Cleaning (CCT), and Applied Microbial Remediation (AMRT.) Andrei aspires to improve his management skills by providing our customers with the best service possible. Being bilingual, Andrei communicates in Spanish with some of our customers. He pursues new ideas to keep up with developing technologies in the metaverse. Andrei loves to play soccer, fish, swim, and spend time with his son. Andrei's favorite motivational quote is, "be the best version of yourself today; the future is not promised."

Jerry is the Office Controller at SERVPRO of New Haven since September 2008. Prior to his great career here at SERVPRO, Jerry was dedicated to the Automotive Finance Management field. He encompasses new technologies and is always looking to improve/simplify the way we do things. Jerry's technical know-how and skills are a huge asset to the team and how we perform. John has been an Equipment Manager at SERVPRO of New Haven since August 2022. He started his career in construction and has since worked his way to being certified at In House Water Specialist Training, Blood Pathogen and Pack & Moving here at SERVPRO. John is a very motivated member of our crew with goals to one day works in our Marketing Department. Outside of work John is a song writer/ musician. Nick joined SERVPRO of New Haven in November 2015 and has learned and developed his talents into becoming a Production Manager. Nick drives a forklift and is a WRT water damage and AMRT applied microbial remediation technician accredited by the IICRC. His training includes ServSafe, DryBook, and Xactimate software. Nick works to learn as much as he can to help others, including his fellow workers at SERVPRO. He enjoys friendships, stand-up comedy, good food, and a board or video game challenge. Peter is our Marketing Manager at SERVPRO of New Haven since January 2023. His 30 years of experience in sales and organization in the home furnishings industry amplifies why he cares about customers during their time of need following a traumatic event. Peter is well-versed with the Xactimate software to set up estimates and customer accounts. Each day brings new situations. Peter relishes cooking, and his favorite quote is from Winston Churchhill, "Success is not final, failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts."

Derek has been a member of SERVPRO of New Haven from August 2018 and is currently our Compliance Specialist and Job File Coordinator. Derek, from the IICRC, has earned WRT water damage restoration certification. He relishes the fairness of our organized management environment and has a goal of expanding autonomous project management and eliminating administrative responsibilities. Derek graduated from BU Boston University and, as a hobby, collects vinyl records. Derek also likes watching movies, television and cooking. His favored motivation quote is from Mahatma Gandi--"Be the change you wish to see in the world."

Briana joined our SERVPRO of New Haven team as a customer service rep in November 2021. She is enthusiastic about using her car dealership experience in the service department to assist queries from potential customers regarding restoration treatments. Briana is happy to be part of office staff, sales reps, and production crews that cooperate as one unit. When not working, Briana enjoys stand-up comedy with Nick and spending time with friends. She has a nail kit set at home and enjoys being creative with her nails and those of her friends. Briana lives by a memorable quote, "Our greatest glory is not in never falling but rising every time we fall."

Jim has joined our SERVPRO of New Haven team as part of our Business Development and Marketing unit. He aims to keep our promise to our customers as the single point of contact for a seamless transition from initial inspection to complete build back. We can partner with Connecticut Reconstruction Services to reach this goal.

After graduating from Duke University, he enjoyed a 30+ year career in the financial services industry. He, his wife, and children were born and raised in lower Fairfield County and recently moved back to Wilton, CT, where they built a house and horse farm. He loves being able to help people when help is needed, and now he’s surrounded by people driven by that same genuine emotion. They take pride in knowing how they help our community. He wants SERVPRO of New Haven to be the first call for recovery services in every community in our region.
One of his passions has always been coaching youth and high school sports. He served numerous years on the Board of Darien Youth Lacrosse and the Darien Junior Football League. Currently, he is a coach with the Express North Lacrosse Club, which draws from Westchester County, NY, and Fairfield County, CT. But these days, he is spending a lot of time helping his wife manage his small horse farm and property along with expanding our SERVPRO brand.

Kristin has been the Operations Manager at SERVPRO of New Haven since Dec. 2018. She started her career back in 2009 as a receptionist. Kristin developed her office skills and restoration knowledge and evolved from the Owners Assistant in 2010 to Assistant Office Manager in 2013 to Office Manager in Dec. 2015. She is proficient in Xactimate software for sales proposals and is particularly pleased with learning from her fellow workers daily--always something new to learn. Her perspective is ever expanding through her interactions and exposure to different personalities. She strives to make everyone successful, thereby making herself more successful.

When not at work, Kristin has many talents and hobbies:

• Being present for her nephews

Mikey has been a Production Technician at SERVPRO of New Haven since January 2022. His experience as a firefighter / IMTT-safety tech illustrates his dedication to performance and helping others. He has earned multiple certifications in this field, a few being: IS (Industrial Safety) FEMA, Hazmat Technician, CPR, BIS First-Aid, and construction. Mikey is impressed with the teamwork and the exceptional working environment. He anticipates climbing the ladder at SERVPRO and becoming more valuable. Mikey is already a huge asset to our restoration crew. Mikey likes automotive repairs when not at work, and his favorite quote is from the movie ROCKY, "That ain't you."

Henry has been a Crew Chief at SERVPRO of New Haven since December 2022. He was previously employed at Rite Aid. His goal is to learn about the cleanup and restoration industry as he helps with customers' needs. He develops more each day in his job skills and contributes with a smile to our tasks. Henry works out at the gym, bikes around town, and reads when not at work.
