She has years of customer service and marketing experience prior to becoming an owner of a SERVPRO franchise. Denise vision is to be a part of our community and help as many people and businesses as we can.

    Janice Carmody has been with SERVPRO of Van Nuys South since its inception. She is our Office Administrator Extraordinaire. On any given day she handles customer service, billing, and communication with adjusters. Immediately after a fire had done extensive damage to my condominium complex, SERVPRO was there, surveying the loss to my unit and devising a strategy to set things right. They did an amazing job and after three days, the areas that they serviced were cleaner and in better shape than they had been in years. SERVPRO was quick (my unit was serviced weeks before others in the complex that had sustained damage), thorough, professional and polite; making the process as quick and easy for my dog and me as I would consider possible. I hope that I never have to go through a fire like that again but if I do, or if anyone I know needs the kind of cleanup that my unit did, I wouldn’t hesitate to contact SERVPRO.

My mom's house was in the worst areas hit during the Woosley Fire. Fortunately, the house didn't burn, but the smoke damage made it impossible to live in. SERVPRO of Van Nuys South was very quick to come out and asses the damage and worked seamlessly with the insurance company. When Jason (the owner) said "Getting your 85 year old mom back into her house is my highest priority" I was so comforted, and I knew we made the right choice. He was true to his word. SERVPRO was fast, thorough and professional.

We came home to a completely flooded kitchen due to a refrigerator water leak. We called SERVPRO of Van Nuys South immediately, since we were so happy their professionalism in the past. A short time later, Jason had a technician in our home. He actually helped my husband lift up the vinyl flooring so we could asses the damage. Because of this quick action, SERVPRO used the high velocity fans and a commercial dehumidifier to get all of the water out of our floors and walls. This meant we didn't have to demolish kitchen cabinets or walls. We are so grateful for SERVPRO for helping us avoid a claim and have our kitchen back to normal in just a few days.
