    Douglas Scott

    As the co-owner of SERVPRO of Laguna, Douglas Scott, along with his wife Kelsey, has led the franchise since 2014. Doug’s responsibilities include overseeing large loss restoration projects, such as those resulting from natural disasters like wildfires and hurricanes. He has worked on high-profile events, including the Camp Fire in Northern California in 2018, bringing his expertise to bear in the recovery efforts. Doug is deeply involved in the company’s growth strategy and continuously looks for ways to expand its reach and improve its services.

    Doug’s professional credentials include certifications from the EPA in Lead Paint Abatement, as well as multiple certifications from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) in Water Damage Restoration, Fire & Smoke Restoration, Applied Structural Drying, and several others. Prior to his career in restoration, Doug served as a military police officer in the U.S. Army for five years, including a 15-month tour in Baghdad. He later studied business at Central Texas College, where he gained the leadership and management skills that serve him today.

    Doug is passionate about spending time outdoors with his five children, whether it’s skiing, fishing, or camping. His family inspires him to continuously strive for success, both as a business owner and a father. Doug is committed to giving his employees the freedom to take ownership of their work, empowering them to grow and succeed, which he believes contributes to the long-term success of SERVPRO of Laguna.

  • Kelsey Scott, team member at SERVPRO of Laguna

    Kelsey Scott

    Kelsey Scott is the co-owner of SERVPRO of Laguna, a position she has held with her husband, Douglas, since 2014. In her role, Kelsey plays a key part in managing large loss restoration efforts during disaster responses while overseeing daily company operations, including managing financial transactions and final job billing. Additionally, Kelsey leads employee training programs, continually assessing where improvements and skill-building are needed to ensure the team’s success.

    Kelsey holds several professional certifications, including being a Licensed General Contractor and an IICRC-certified technician in both Water Damage Restoration and Fire & Smoke Restoration. She is also a Bio-Recovery Technician certified by the American Bio-Recovery Association (ABRA). Before her time with SERVPRO, Kelsey worked as a Veterinary Technician in an Emergency and Critical Care unit, demonstrating her lifelong dedication to helping animals. Her love for horses, which she has enjoyed since the age of two, remains a constant passion.

    Outside of her work, Kelsey enjoys camping with her husband and five children. She is deeply committed to empowering others, particularly her daughters, showing them that women can succeed in male-dominated industries. Kelsey is also dedicated to ensuring every customer receives an exceptional experience, addressing concerns with empathy and guiding her team to make informed decisions with confidence.

    Arturo Guedea

    Arturo serves as the General Manager at SERVPRO of Laguna, having joined the team in January 2019. He holds certifications from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) in Water Restoration, Fire Restoration, and Biohazard Trauma and Cleanup. Starting as a production technician, Arturo quickly advanced to production manager before assuming the role of General Manager.

    In his previous position, Arturo was responsible for managing communication with adjusters and customers, obtaining project approvals, assigning tasks to crew chiefs and technicians, and overseeing project progress. He also led team training efforts to ensure that each employee understood their responsibilities. Arturo is committed to helping his team grow and develop, ensuring they reach their full potential.

    Before entering the restoration field, Arturo worked as a server and caregiver for elderly residents. This experience gave him valuable insight into customer service and empathy. Outside of work, Arturo is passionate about sketching realistic monochrome portraits, boxing (a sport he began at age 11 and competed in for seven years), and playing the piano. Arturo is motivated by his desire to see his team thrive and is dedicated to providing customers with a positive, reassuring experience throughout the restoration process.

    Kimberly Huynh

    Kimmy is the Office Manager at SERVPRO of Laguna, where she has been an integral part of the team since September 2020. She oversees the office’s operations, ensuring that all administrative tasks are efficiently managed and that customers receive exceptional service. Kimmy’s responsibilities include job file management, billing, and following up with customers and insurance companies to ensure all outstanding payments are resolved.

    Kimmy holds an IICRC certification in Water Damage Restoration, further enhancing her expertise in the industry. Before joining SERVPRO, Kimmy worked as a marketing coordinator for a digital signage company, where she gained valuable experience in marketing and customer relations. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Sonoma State University and an M.S. in Advertising & Marketing from the University of Hull in England.

    In her free time, Kimmy enjoys dancing, painting, reading, and traveling. She is motivated by her family’s support and the creative opportunities to connect marketing efforts with business growth. Kimmy takes great satisfaction in seeing the positive results of her work, ensuring that SERVPRO’s services reach the right audience and contribute to customer satisfaction.

    Loralei Langford holds the position of Marketing Support Coordinator at SERVPRO of Laguna, having been with the team since 2022. Currently working toward a Business Marketing degree, which she will complete in spring 2025, Loralei specializes in digital marketing, overseeing the company’s website, social media, online reviews, and web-based advertising.
