About Us

SERVPRO of Sorrento Valley/University City was founded by James Thompson in 2005. He grew up on the east coast where his father and sister also own SERVPRO franchises. After growing up around SERVPRO, and with a strong family history of 40 years in the business, he decided to follow in their footsteps and started his own franchise on the west coast here in San Diego.

In the early days SERVPRO franchises focused on cleaning carpets, upholstery and draperies. Over time SERVPRO evolved into the water/fire damage restoration business and has been expanding and growing across the country ever since. Currently, our goal is to provide you, the customer, with exemplary service. We understand that insurance companies can be difficult to work with, rest assured SERVPRO of Sorrento Valley/University City will assist and help make the process as smooth as possible.

Our services include water, fire, and mold mitigation, biohazard and trauma cleanup, and carpet and upholstery cleaning.
